Bringing a child into this world can be the most life changing and empowering event of a woman’s life. I am passionate about helping families experience their very best birth possible. As an expectant mother I attended an eight week Bradley Method of Childbirth series with my husband, and from the moment my first son was laid on my chest, I became obsessed with babies and childbirth.
I became a doula because I want others to have the support I had during my own births! Having experienced the tragedy of miscarriage, I understand the extra anxiety pregnant families may feel during their subsequent pregnancies. In that light I will bring a special sensitivity to your prenatal and birth experience. I am certified through both DONA Intl. and PALS, and I and attended birth doula training at the renowned Simkin Center for Allied Birth Vocations at Bastyr University.
When I am not doula’ing, I spend my days working in Human Resources, chasing my rugrats, and working on DIY house projects with my husband.
