Emma Christensen was first introduced to the healing arts when she took the 200 hour reflexology certification program at the New York Open Center in 2002. Seeing the profound difference that reflexology made in the lives of her fellow classmates and the clients she worked with, Emma sought out further education in reiki and Quantum Touch. In 2004 she graduated from the 500 hour massage certification program at Kriplau in Massachusetts. In 2007 she became a birth and postpartum doula and had her “aha moment” when she realized that all of those tools she had been learning over the years now had a purpose. She found her calling working with new and expectant families. She took additional training in prenatal massage with Carole Osborne and in craniosacral therapy with Carol Gray and started to specialize in prenatal and postpartum bodywork and supporting families from conception right through their childbearing years.
Emma works full time in her dual roles as a prenatal massage therapist and as a birth and postpartum doula. She lives in Crown Hill with the world’s cutest dog Maggie.
